Who pays the HUD agent’s commission?

This is a complex question. HUD pays the real estate agents’ commissions out of the offer you submit. However, when deciding which bids to accept, HUD considers their profit as your actual bid (bid amount – agent’s commission – closing costs = profit to HUD).
